Our spacious, air conditioned and classy gourmet restaurant, is the place where you will feel that you are at "home-away-from home!" With soft music in the background, candle lit dinners on white linen is served in a romantic, relaxing atmosphere. In winter pre-dinner drinks are served in front of a live log fire place, adding to the relaxing atmosphere of the heart of the Karoo Gateway Guesthouse.

Our well trained and professional staff, serve mouth watering traditional Karoo home made dishes and barbeques, and Karoo lamb-on-the-spit barbeques can be arranged for bigger groups. We offer set menus, traditional “potjie kos”, freshly cut salads, vegetarian dishes, light snacks, sandwiches and freshly baked breads and deserts.

Our meals are complemented by excellent SA wines and other beverages from our fully licensed and well stocked bar.

Breakfast: Served strictly between 7h15am and 9h00am

A sumptuous continental breakfast is available for our guests that stays overnight at the Karoo Gateway Guesthouse. An upgrade at a small fee to a full English Breakfast, is available and needs to be pre-booked.

Dinner: Served strictly between 19h00pm and 20h15pm

A mouthwatering 3 course set menu with choice of main dishes, is available and needs to be pre-booked. Snacks can be served for late arrivals but needs to be pre-arranged.

Tea, coffee, cool drinks, beers, refreshments and snacks available throughout the day and served on the verandah, at the gazebo and pool areas.
